Description
The Store Manager position provides the opportunity to be accountable for the successful operation of an automotive care team. Managers are responsible for utilizing corporate assets to attain quarterly sales goals and must possess leadership and managerial skills. Youngstedt Companies provides state of the art locations and equipment with on-going support from corporate personnel.
Other responsibilities include:
- Manage inventory of parts
- Schedule customer appointments
- Assure superior customer satisfaction
- Drive store growth
- Work toward company and store goals
- Assist with recruiting employees
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- A high school diploma or GED
- A valid driver’s license in order to drive company and customer vehicle
- Completion of automotive courses in high school or at a technical school
- Automotive repair experience
- Retail management experience
- The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- The ability to lead a team
- The ability to readily respond to changing circumstances and expectations
